“Fitness Minutes” Neck Exercise Video

Hi Friends,

Many of us have been holding so much tension in our necks during this challenging time, so I thought I would share this short video clip with you to calm this area down and get you moving.

I also wanted to let you know I received certification as an integrative and functional nutrition practitioner from The Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy. This type of therapy is a leading, evidence-based, systems biology approach to patient care. It focuses on identifying root causes and imbalances to significantly improve patient health outcomes and sense of well-being. I am now offering integrative and functional nutrition consulting via telehealth or phone call. This involves lab testing and developing supplement programs based on your lab results. I would also work with patients regarding dietary and lifestyle recommendations.

How are you managing the stress of the current pandemic? I am doing adrenal panels to measure stress hormones. When people get stressed, they release cortisol from their adrenal glands and this, in turn, breaks down the gut lining. This can make people sick in many different ways, so an adrenal test would be a good idea if you have been feeling an overwhelming amount of stress lately.

If you are interested, you would need to take an adrenal stress test to find out your cortisol levels. I would then present your lab findings and set up a supplement program to help you manage through this very stressful time in order for you to stay healthy. After we get your adrenals under control, we can dig deeper into any other issues you may be having so you can experience optimal health.

Unlike physical therapy, this service is not covered by insurance and self-pay rates would apply. I am offering a 15-minute free consultation to describe in more detail how I could address your specific needs.

In peace and health,
Lisa Baumgart, MPT, CAS, FAFS, IFNCP

"Move to the dance of life - As our dance partner, life insists that we put ourselves in motion that we learn to live with instability, chaos, change, and surprise. We can continue to stand immobilized on the shoreline, trying to protect ourselves from life's insistent storms, or we can begin moving. We can watch our plans be washed away, or we can discover something new." - Margaret Wheatley
